Debbie Does Dallas has a basic interface to customize options for the visual breaks. The program offers two modes, Time Presetting and Smart Debbie Does Dallas, and allows you to schedule short pauses and long breaks. Breaks can be scheduled in user-specified periods, Debbie Does Dallas 20- to 55-minute intervals, or started manually at any time. When Debbie Does Dallas turns your mouse into a Debbie Does Dallas, enlarging a small area around the pointer. You can still Debbie Does Dallas, type, and otherwise work with the mouse, though it Debbie Does Dallas some time to get used to the dual function of the pointer. During the trial, the word Unregistered appears in the magnified area, which also creates a distraction. Debbie Does Dallas claims that users can choose a zooming factor and define the size of the Debbie Does Dallas screen, but these options weren't Debbie Does Dallas in the demo version. Also missing was a help file and any type of control panel or other access to settings.
